Bathroom Blunders

The most common bathroom blunder is falling into the toilet when the seat is left up (85%).

The majority of moms (82%) have been caught "primping, waxing, plucking or shaving."

73 percent of moms have been accidentally soaked by a showerhead when trying to run a bath.

75 percent of moms remove layers of clothes as a weight loss strategy while standing on the scale.

33 percent of moms have sleepily brushed their teeth with something other than toothpaste.

25 percent of moms resort to toilet paper for a wet child emerging from the bath when no towel is in sight.

More than a quarter of moms have walked in on their kids bathing the family pet and faced a disaster.

Three out of four moms (74.2%) leave the bathroom door open when they are home alone.

Only a small percentage (8.2%) have mistakenly flushed a living fish during a toilet bowl funeral.

Believe These Potty Particulars

The bathroom is a haven for multi-tasking, say most moms. While in the bathroom, moms are reading (72.6%), talking on the phone (66%), meditating (26.2%), watching TV (25.6%), drinking coffee or eating (17.9%), and balancing the checkbook (6.2%). And some actually write letters (3.6%)!

What's the first thing we notice when we walk into a bathroom? How much toilet paper is left on a roll (two out of three survey respondents).

Only 33 percent of moms say they are willing to snoop around to find where the spare roll is kept in someone else's home.
